Job Summary

Working remotely, the part-time Copay Claims Processor will review and submit copay claims on behalf of patients and providers, ensuring accurate processing and follow-up to improve financial outcomes for both patients and the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Review pending claims for accuracy and submit through appropriate channels
• Conduct follow-ups on claims status and resolve discrepancies with copay programs and revenue cycle departments
• Post claim payments and maintain accurate records of all processed claims

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing and coding or financial navigation
• Experience with EMRs and billing systems
• Familiarity with various insurance types
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
