A company is looking for a Copy Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in news planning and manage page flow under tight deadlines
• Develop engaging supplementary content to support design
• Review and edit content for accuracy and adherence to standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience with newspaper copy editing and familiarity with AP style
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Familiarity with Southern California current events and history
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or a degree in journalism or related field preferred
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
