Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Copy Editor, the successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and quality of clinical and continuing medical education content across various formats, utilizing AI tools to enhance editing efficiency and maintain strict adherence to style guidelines while meeting tight production deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Copyedit and proofread clinical and CME materials in multiple formats, ensuring error-free publications
• Integrate AI tools into the editing workflow to improve consistency and efficiency across high-volume projects
• Collaborate with various departments to uphold quality standards and adhere to corporate branding and compliance guidelines

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of editing and fact-checking experience, preferably in medical or scientific publishing
• Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity in the editing process
• Strong command of AMA Manual of Style and AP Stylebook
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro and InCopy
