Job Summary
Partnering with the internal Editing team and Legal specialists, the remote Copy Editor for Compliance will review, edit, and approve studio content for accuracy, compliance, and SEO optimization, ensuring all materials meet institutional standards before publication.
Key responsibilities
- Review and edit all studio copy across various formats to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand voice consistency
- Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure content meets regulatory compliance and flag any language risks
- Optimize content for SEO and AI search visibility, applying best practices for structured content and generative engine optimization
Required qualifications
- Experience in copy editing or content compliance within regulated industries such as higher education or healthcare
- Strong knowledge of US higher education marketing regulations and familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and AI search optimization
- Experience reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy and compliance
- Exceptional command of written American English across multiple brand voices and content formats
