Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the production of written content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and journalistic integrity
• Review, refine, and fact-check articles while mentoring reporters to maintain consistent style and tone
• Support management on the uafsunstar.com website and assist with editorial workflows

Required Qualifications

• Part-time enrollment at the university with a minimum of 6 credits and a GPA of 2.0
• Prior experience in journalism, editing, or a student-run publication is preferred
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with digital publishing and editing tools
• Solid understanding of journalistic standards, including AP-style
• Experience managing or contributing to editorial workflows is highly desirable
