Copyrights and Permissions Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Permissions, Copyrights, and Assignment Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage requests for using content, oversee rights research, and draft permissions licenses
• Oversee copyright registrations with the U.S. Copyright Office and collect necessary information for submissions
• Support author royalty assignments and assist with documentation for audits and litigations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Prior experience with publishing agreements or royalty contracts preferred
• Experience with Permissions and Copyright Registrations and Management of Intellectual Property is preferred
• Knowledge of Business Law, Legal, Accounting, or Intellectual Property as it relates to copyrights is a plus
