Core Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Overseas Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance high-performance scalable backend systems for Wealth Management Engineering platforms
• Build batch applications, microservices, and event-based asynchronous applications for integration with the Blackrock Aladdin platform
• Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and remediate issues affecting production applications

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on backend development experience using Core Java/J2EE
• Strong experience with the Spring Framework, specifically Spring Batch and Spring Boot
• Proven experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases and solid understanding of SQL data modeling
• Experience building and supporting RESTful services and familiarity with messaging platforms like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience in Agile Scrum delivery models and understanding of cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP, or Azure
