Core Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Leading technical design and architecture, the full-time Core Platform Engineer will manage the real-time voice pipeline, conversation orchestration, and call routing engine while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, tests, deployment, and monitoring
• Set and uphold engineering standards through code review, design feedback, and documentation
• Serve as the primary escalation point for production issues affecting inbound and outbound call flows

Required qualifications

• 10+ years building production backend or distributed systems
• Demonstrated experience leading or tech-leading an engineering team
• Deep proficiency in a modern backend stack (Python, TypeScript, or equivalent)
• Strong background in real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or telephony/voice platforms
• Track record of owning complex systems end-to-end and driving them to production
