Corporate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with M&A oversight and due diligence
• Support Board of Directors and committee matters, including preparation of resolutions and guidance on corporate governance
• Monitor and advise on regulatory developments affecting public companies and securities regulation

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Minimum of 7 years of Corporate Attorney experience, preferably with law firm and in-house experience
• Experience with public company rules and regulations, including reporting on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Uphold standards of discretion, confidentiality, ethics, and fair/proper behavior
