Job Summary

Focusing on emerging growth companies, the full-time remote Corporate Attorney will manage venture capital financings, M&A transactions, and corporate governance matters, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring timely service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage venture capital financings and M&A transactions, providing timely and accurate legal advice
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and staff, fostering professional development
• Analyze complex legal issues and maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• 5-8 years of experience in Emerging Growth/Venture Capital law
• Direct experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred
• Familiarity with NVCA and other standard venture capital forms
• Proven ability to manage due diligence on M&A transactions and venture financings
