Job Summary
Supporting corporate governance and M&A transactions, the remote Corporate Attorney - State Licensed will manage due diligence, transaction documentation, and entity management while collaborating closely with senior leadership and legal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support corporate M&A transactions, including due diligence and post-closing matters
- Assist with corporate governance matters, preparing board and shareholder documentation
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements while coordinating with internal teams and outside counsel
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
- Approximately 4-7 years of relevant corporate legal experience
- Experience supporting M&A transactions and corporate governance matters
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience managing paralegals and other reports is a plus
