Corporate Attorney - Venture Capital

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Attorney specializing in Venture Capital Financing for a remote contract engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent startup and high-growth companies in capital raising transactions from seed rounds through VC financing
• Draft and review term sheets, stock purchase agreements, shareholder and investor rights agreements, and convertible bridge notes
• Work collaboratively with corporate legal teams and clients in various industries

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in venture capital financing and representing startup companies
• Prior experience in the corporate practice group of a large firm or sophisticated boutique is preferred
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing
