Corporate Communications Manager

Job Summary

To shape and amplify GitHub's corporate narratives, the full-time remote Corporate Communications Manager will develop compelling stories, execute communication strategies, and manage stakeholder relationships to enhance positive perceptions of the company and its products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling stories around GitHub's products and corporate milestones, utilizing data and customer insights
• Create and execute communication strategies that drive awareness and positive perception of GitHub
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to support storytelling that enhances customer adoption

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in internal communications, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent educational background
• 3+ years of proven success in securing impactful media coverage in top-tier and trade outlets
• Experience in both in-house and agency communications roles
• Familiarity with the software development or technology industry
• Knowledge of the developer ecosystem, open source, AI, or DevOps
