Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Serving as a key legal partner, the remote Corporate Counsel will manage the negotiation and execution of various commercial agreements, ensuring efficient and responsible scaling of the company while navigating data privacy and regulatory considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including SaaS agreements and vendor agreements
• Maintain and improve contract templates and workflows for commercial contracting
• Assist in managing the contract lifecycle process and integrate AI tools into legal workflows

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing
• 2+ years of practical experience negotiating commercial contracts in a law firm or in-house setting
• Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory issues including GDPR and CCPA
• Ability to independently manage and negotiate contracts with customers and vendors
• Strong problem-solving orientation and project management skills in a fast-paced environment
