Job Summary

Providing legal guidance in a fast-paced environment, the full-time remote SVP Corporate Counsel will manage legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, and transactional matters while partnering with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and ensure adherence to applicable laws.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal advice on regulatory compliance, governance, and operational matters while assessing legal risks
• Negotiate and manage contracts and corporate transactions, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Oversee corporate governance practices and maintain the company's regulatory compliance program

Required qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing
• 6-10 years of legal experience, including law firm experience and preferably in-house counsel experience
• Strong skills in legal research, drafting, negotiation, and project management
• Experience in financial services, lending, or regulated business environments preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting
