Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Providing legal support across various functions, the remote Corporate Counsel will review and negotiate commercial agreements, offer legal guidance to departments, and assist in developing corporate policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including software licensing and vendor contracts
• Provide legal guidance to departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Conduct legal research and advise on relevant laws and industry trends affecting business operations

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
• 2-4 years of experience in a corporate legal department and/or law firm
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and intellectual property law
• Experience in the technology industry or with SaaS products is preferred
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
