Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel, the full-time remote attorney will provide legal counsel on complex issues including mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and HIPAA/privacy support while collaborating with leadership and the Chief Privacy Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support for corporate governance, privacy, employment, and intellectual property matters
• Support corporate development on mergers, acquisitions, and related transactions through drafting and negotiation
• Lead privacy strategy initiatives and manage HIPAA and data security compliance efforts

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active admission to at least one state bar and in good standing
• 2-5 years of experience in corporate, healthcare, and/or privacy-focused legal practice
• Experience advising healthcare organizations and supporting corporate governance and transactions
• Proficiency in using generative AI tools for legal research and workflow efficiency
