Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Providing high-level strategic legal support, the full-time Corporate Counsel will serve as the Corporate Secretary for Renaissance Charitable Foundation, advising senior management on M&A, corporate transactions, and compliance matters while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide M&A and corporate transaction support, including due diligence and negotiation
• Serve as principal legal advisor to senior management on strategy, risk, and compliance matters
• Collaborate with the Compliance and Risk team on governance and data protection issues

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in at least one state required
• 5+ years of legal experience in-house or at a law firm with a corporate or transactional focus
• In-depth knowledge of M&A, corporate finance, and governance
• Experience with employment, intellectual property, and data protection preferred
• Demonstrated AI fluency in legal research and document drafting
