Job Summary

Providing legal counsel and support to project teams and senior leadership, the remote In-House Legal Counsel will focus on corporate documents within the financial services industry, assisting with transaction execution, mergers and acquisitions, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review corporate and securities-related contracts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
• Collaborate with project teams to develop tailored legal solutions that enhance client engagements
• Oversee legal workflows and provide guidance to junior staff while ensuring quality and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in the United States
• Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) in corporate or transactional law, particularly in financial services
• Strong background in M&A, succession planning, and corporate governance
• Experience in overseeing legal workflows and collaborating cross-functionally
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
