Corporate Counsel
Job Summary
Reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing a wide range of contracts, the full-time remote Corporate Counsel will ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements while providing general legal support to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational needs
- Coordinate contract administration, tracking status and maintaining organized contract files and templates
- Assist with compliance and governance activities related to Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and health plan compliance
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- 5 - 7 years of experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with health plan and provider contracting
- Strong understanding of contract law, HIPAA, privacy, and risk-mitigation strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across functions
