Corporate Counsel and Risk Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel and Risk Manager, this full-time remote position will lead enterprise risk management, oversee contract and insurance risk, and ensure compliance governance while collaborating with executive leadership to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the firm's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments
• Oversee risk-related contract reviews and manage corporate insurance programs, ensuring compliance and effective risk transfer
• Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards, fostering a proactive culture of risk awareness and compliance across the organization

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of eight years of experience in contract law, insurance law, or risk management, preferably in construction, engineering, or design industries
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and contract and insurance law
• Strong analytical skills and experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations
• Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment while managing multiple priorities
