Corporate Counsel - DC Licensed
Job Summary
Serving as a key legal partner to the business, the full-time Corporate Counsel - DC Licensed will manage corporate, commercial, technology, regulatory, compliance, employment, privacy, and data security matters while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements, including software and data-related contracts
- Provide legal guidance on corporate transactions and maintain corporate securities filings with the SEC
- Develop and improve legal templates, contract playbooks, and scalable legal operations practices
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, with eligibility to practice in the District of Columbia
- 4+ years of relevant legal experience
- Strong business judgment and ability to prioritize material legal risk
- Experience with legal contract management software, such as Salesforce (preferred)
