Job Summary
Supporting government contracting compliance and legal operations, the full-time remote Corporate Counsel - Government Contracts will assist with compliance program execution, audits, training initiatives, and contract reviews while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and outside counsel.
Key responsibilities
- Support compliance programs related to U.S. Government contracting requirements, including FAR and DFARS
- Assist in identifying compliance risks and monitor regulatory developments impacting government contractors
- Help develop and deliver compliance training for employees, and prepare internal compliance guidance and reference materials
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 2-5+ years of experience in government contracts or regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS concepts and government contracting compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting audits and compliance reviews
- Highly meticulous and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
