Corporate Counsel, Product
Job Summary
Owning the legal strategy for product development, the full-time Corporate Counsel, Product will partner with cross-functional teams to advise on compliance, risk mitigation, and scalable legal processes in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to provide legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle
- Translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable advice for product development teams
- Identify and mitigate legal risks early, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience advising technology products, particularly in AI/data governance and privacy
- Experience counseling cross-functional teams in a technology company or law firm
- Familiarity with ad tech, e-commerce, or SaaS product concepts
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to both technical and non-legal audiences
