Corporate Counsel, Securities Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Corporate Counsel- Corporate and Securities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state securities laws and prepare SEC filings
• Advise on executive compensation activities and support investor relations communications
• Collaborate with various departments on corporate governance and capital markets transactions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school; licensed to practice law in the U.S
• Minimum 7 years of combined experience in-house and/or with a law firm, preferably in biotech or pharmaceuticals
• Self-motivated and proactive with excellent judgment
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to drive results and instill trust within the organization
