Corporate Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to serve as a trusted legal advisor supporting legal operations and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS and vendor contracts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle and enforce legal processes for consistency and compliance

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of legal practice experience, including 2+ years in-house
• Expertise in commercial contracting and corporate law, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector
• Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory issues relevant to health and student data
• Experience integrating AI tools into legal workflows
