Corporate Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage technology transactions and commercial contracts
• Collaborate with the General Counsel on complex legal matters and manage the Legal Operations team
• Serve as a trusted advisor to various business units and support cross-functional legal coverage, including privacy, IP, M&A, and employment matters

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership required
• 6-8 years of legal experience for Sr. Corporate Counsel; 8-12 years for Director of Legal
• Experience with technology transactions, commercial contracts, and M&A transactions
• Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA
• Experience advising on employment-related matters and familiarity with SaaS or technology companies
