Corporate Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing team, the remote Corporate Counsel (State Licensed) will manage commercial and contracts compliance for partners, focusing on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts while ensuring alignment with company standards and legal requirements in the telehealth sector.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate customer, partner, and vendor contracts, balancing business objectives with legal risks
• Collaborate with internal teams to support pre-sales processes, ensuring timely contract reviews and negotiations
• Conduct due diligence and monitor prospective and existing partners to evaluate legal, regulatory, and financial risks

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the relevant State Bar
• 3+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably with a mix of both
• Experience in healthcare, health tech, telemedicine/telehealth, or SaaS is a strong plus
• Strong foundation in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of legal considerations unique to telehealth delivery, such as state licensure and privacy regulations
