Corporate Counsel - State Licensed
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the remote Corporate Counsel - State Licensed will manage a variety of commercial legal matters, including contract negotiation and compliance, while providing legal guidance to cross-functional teams across the Americas and beyond.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS and licensing contracts
- Advise internal teams on legal implications and risk mitigation related to commercial agreements
- Monitor and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations within contracts
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state
- 5-8 years of combined law firm and in-house experience
- Demonstrated experience with technology contracts, including SaaS agreements
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes
- Working knowledge of intellectual property concepts as they relate to commercial contracts
