Corporate Development Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Corporate Development Associate (M&A) will manage M&A deal execution from LOI through close, including project management, due diligence leadership, financial analysis, and transaction documentation both remotely and onsite in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Own deal execution and project management across multiple live deals, ensuring stakeholder alignment and diligence tracking from LOI through close
• Lead diligence efforts by managing confirmatory checklists and coordinating functional diligence across various departments
• Conduct financial analysis to support valuation and deal economics, developing and maintaining deal models and investment committee materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or related deal execution roles
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with CRMs and data room management
• Demonstrated analytical skills with a focus on financial modeling and diligence synthesis
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments while meeting deadlines
