Corporate Development Associate

Job Summary

Owning M&A deal execution from LOI through close, the full-time Corporate Development Associate will manage project workflows, lead due diligence efforts, conduct financial analysis, and coordinate transaction documentation in a hybrid work environment based in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project execution and stakeholder alignment across multiple live deals, ensuring effective diligence tracking and workplan management
• Lead diligence efforts by coordinating functional teams, building checklists, and synthesizing findings to escalate risks
• Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to support valuation and investment committee materials, while managing data room requests and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or similar deal execution roles
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with CRMs, data rooms, and document management systems
