Corporate Development Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Corporate Development Associate (M&A) will manage M&A deal execution from LOI through close, including project management, due diligence leadership, financial analysis, and transaction documentation, both remotely and in-person in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Own deal execution and project management across multiple live deals, ensuring stakeholder alignment and diligence tracking from LOI through close
• Lead due diligence efforts by building and managing checklists, coordinating functional diligence, and synthesizing findings to escalate risks
• Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to support valuation and develop deal models, while managing data room requests and transaction documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or related deal execution roles
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with CRMs and document management systems, including data rooms
