Job Summary
Owning M&A deal execution from LOI through close, the full-time Corporate Development Associate will manage project workflows, lead due diligence efforts, conduct financial analysis, and coordinate transaction documentation and integration planning, with responsibilities performed both remotely and in-person at the Columbia, MO headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage deal execution and project workflows across multiple live deals, ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely delivery from LOI through close
- Lead due diligence efforts by coordinating functional teams, managing checklists, and synthesizing findings while escalating risks as necessary
- Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to support valuation and deal economics, while developing and maintaining deal models and investment committee materials
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or similar roles with strong financial and project management skills
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable with CRMs and document management systems
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial modeling and diligence synthesis
- Proactive and self-directed with an ownership mindset, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
