Corporate Development Associate

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Corporate Development Associate (M&A) to manage M&A deal execution from LOI through close, including project management, due diligence leadership, and financial analysis, with responsibilities conducted both remotely and onsite in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Own deal execution and project management across multiple live deals, ensuring stakeholder alignment from LOI through close
• Lead due diligence efforts by coordinating functional diligence, building checklists, and synthesizing findings while escalating risks
• Perform financial analysis and underwriting to support valuation, develop deal models, and prepare investment committee materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or related deal execution roles
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with CRMs and document management systems, including data rooms
