Corporate Development Associate

Job Summary

Owning M&A deal execution from LOI through close, the full-time Corporate Development Associate will manage project workflows, lead due diligence efforts, conduct financial analysis, and coordinate transaction documentation both remotely and onsite in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project execution and diligence tracking across multiple live deals, ensuring stakeholder alignment from LOI through close
• Lead due diligence efforts by coordinating functional teams and synthesizing findings while escalating risks as necessary
• Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to support deal valuation, maintain deal models, and prepare investment committee materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or related deal execution roles
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRMs and data room management
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communication skills to effectively interface with executives, operators, and external advisors
