Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Corporate Development Associate (M&A) will manage M&A deal execution from LOI through close, including project management, due diligence leadership, financial analysis, and transaction documentation in a hybrid work environment based in Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Own deal execution and project management across multiple live deals, ensuring stakeholder alignment from LOI through close
- Lead due diligence efforts by coordinating functional teams, building checklists, and synthesizing findings while escalating risks early
- Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to support valuation and develop deal models, while managing data room requests and transaction documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or similar roles with strong project management skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with CRMs and data room management
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial modeling and diligence synthesis
- Proactive and self-directed with an ownership mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
