Job Summary
Owning M&A deal execution from LOI through close, the full-time Corporate Development Associate will manage project workflows, lead due diligence efforts, conduct financial analysis, and support transaction documentation while working remotely and reporting to the corporate headquarters in Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Manage deal execution and project workflows across multiple live deals, ensuring stakeholder alignment from LOI through close
- Lead due diligence efforts by building checklists, coordinating functional teams, and escalating risks as necessary
- Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to support valuation and develop deal models, ensuring timely delivery of critical items
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or related deal execution roles
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with CRMs and document management systems, such as HubSpot
