Corporate Development Associate

Job Summary

Owning M&A deal execution from LOI through close, the full-time Corporate Development Associate will manage project tasks, lead due diligence efforts, conduct financial analysis, and coordinate transaction documentation both remotely and onsite in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee deal execution and project management across multiple live deals, ensuring alignment from LOI through close
• Lead diligence efforts by managing checklists and coordinating functional teams while synthesizing findings and escalating risks
• Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to support valuation and develop deal models, ensuring timely management of data room requests and transaction documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or related deal execution roles
• Strong financial modeling and diligence synthesis skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with CRMs and data room management
• Execution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
