Corporate Development Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel to manage legal aspects of M&A and strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments
• Lead and manage the legal due diligence process and coordinate with internal specialists
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team and collaborate with various stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active state bar membership
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience with a focus on M&A
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction agreements
• Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law
• In-house experience at a technology or high-growth company is a plus
