Corporate Development Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel to manage legal aspects of M&A and strategic investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate key transaction documents for acquisitions and investments
• Lead and manage the end-to-end legal due diligence process
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team and business leaders

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active bar membership
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience focusing on M&A
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction agreements
• Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and securities law
• Experience at a law firm in its M&A/Corporate practice is preferred
