Corporate Development Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate key transaction documents for acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments
• Lead and manage the end-to-end legal due diligence process and coordinate with internal specialists
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team and provide strategic advice on deal structures

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active membership in at least one state bar
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience with a focus on M&A, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements
• Experience in a law firm's M&A/Corporate practice is preferred; in-house experience at a technology or high-growth company is a plus
• Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
