Job Summary
Supporting the Corporate HQ remotely, the full-time Corporate Development Counsel will manage legal aspects of M&A and strategic investment activities, including structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and integration.
Key responsibilities
- Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions and investments
- Lead the legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialists and summarizing findings for stakeholders
- Provide strategic legal advice to the Corporate Development team and manage outside counsel on transactions
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active state bar membership
- At least 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&A, including hands-on drafting and negotiating experience
- Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and the M&A lifecycle
- Experience in a law firm's M&A/Corporate practice is preferred, with in-house experience at a tech company as a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines
