Job Summary
To support a growing corporate team, the full-time Corporate Development Counsel will manage the legal aspects of M&A and strategic investment activities, including structuring, negotiating, and overseeing transactions, while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure, draft, and negotiate key transaction documents for acquisitions and investments
- Lead and manage the end-to-end legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialists
- Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team, providing strategic and tactical advice
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one state bar
- At least 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&A, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements
- Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in high-pressure situations
- Experience at a law firm in M&A/Corporate practice is strongly preferred
