Corporate Development Counsel

Job Summary

To support corporate growth initiatives, the full-time Corporate Development Counsel will manage the legal aspects of M&A and strategic investments, including structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions and investments
• Lead the legal due diligence process and coordinate with internal specialists
• Provide strategic legal advice to the Corporate Development team and business leaders

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active state bar membership
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&A
• Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex transaction agreements
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools or legal technology is a plus
