Job Summary

To support strategic growth initiatives, the full-time salaried Corporate Development Counsel will manage the legal aspects of M&A and investment activities, including structuring, negotiating, and overseeing due diligence processes, while collaborating closely with senior leadership and various business teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Structure, draft, and negotiate key transaction documents for acquisitions and strategic investments
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialists and summarizing findings for stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team, providing strategic and tactical advice on deal structures and negotiation strategies
Required qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one state
  • At least 4 years of relevant legal experience with a significant focus on M&A and complex transaction agreements
  • Expertise in corporate law, contract law, and securities law
  • Experience at a law firm in its M&A/Corporate practice is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in high-pressure situations
