Corporate Development Counsel (MO Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel to manage legal aspects of M&A and strategic investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions and investments
• Lead and manage the legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialists
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team and other business leaders

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active state bar membership
• At least 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&A
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex transaction agreements
• Preferred experience at a law firm in M&A/Corporate practice or in-house at a technology company
• Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and securities law
