Corporate Development Deal Lead

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Corporate Development Deal Lead, the successful candidate will execute M&A transactions, manage cross-functional discussions, negotiate key terms, and drive deals to timely closure, while contributing to the company's strategic vision in the financial services and crypto industry.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end deal process, from initial diligence to closing, while articulating key value drivers in concise deal memos
• Oversee the development of pro forma financial models and valuation analyses, coordinating due diligence with cross-functional stakeholders
• Identify high-value opportunities and enhance the Corporate Development function through process improvements and team mentorship

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Development at a hyper-growth FinTech company or investment bank
• Experience in building pro forma financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF and comparable multiples
• Deep familiarity with the M&A process and venture investments, including legal matters and integration planning
• Strong understanding of the global regulatory environment around crypto and financial services
• Established network in the crypto and/or traditional financial services markets
