Corporate Development Executive

Job Summary

Seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially minded Head of Corporate Development, this full-time remote position will build and lead the M&A function, designing playbooks and driving a high-velocity roll-up strategy to manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle in the lower middle market.

Key responsibilities

• Build the M&A function by establishing corporate development infrastructure, playbooks, and processes from scratch
• Drive proprietary sourcing to maintain a robust deal pipeline through direct outreach and industry networking
• Own end-to-end execution of the deal lifecycle, including negotiation, diligence, and closing coordination

Required qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking and corporate development or private equity
• Proven track record of underwriting and closing transactions within the $5M-$100M Total Enterprise Value range
• Hands-on experience with high-velocity roll-up platforms and familiarity with tech-enabled business services
• Experience underwriting businesses with recurring-revenue or membership-based models
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in a greenfield environment requiring a pragmatic execution style
