Corporate Development Manager

Job Summary

Driving Ascend's inorganic growth strategy, the full-time Corporate Development Manager will identify, evaluate, and close acquisitions while managing a proprietary pipeline and conducting financial analysis, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a proprietary pipeline of acquisition targets aligned with growth strategy
• Run outbound business development and represent Ascend in early-stage conversations with sellers and advisors
• Coordinate financial, legal, and operational due diligence workstreams and prepare deal summaries for leadership review

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or FP&A with direct exposure to deal execution
• Demonstrated financial modeling and valuation skills, including comparables and DCF
• Experience sourcing or evaluating deals directly in an outbound business-development capacity
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
