Corporate Finance Tech Lead

Job Summary

Owning the corporate finance function in a remote contract position, the Corporate Finance Tech Lead will manage capital budgeting, financing decisions, and working capital management while leading a small team and partnering with senior executives to maximize shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategy and own the annual plan and quarterly re-forecasts across capital budgeting, financing, and working capital management
• Lead capital allocation decisions and manage liquidity, banking relationships, and short-term funding backups in collaboration with Treasury
• Oversee monthly close processes, financial statements, board reporting, and taxation workflows while mentoring a small team

Required qualifications

• 6-12 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, treasury, or investment banking, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding of capital budgeting (NPV/IRR), capital structure (WACC, debt/equity), and working capital management
• Proficiency in building three-statement models and strong skills in Excel, SQL, and modern FP&A tools (e.g., Anaplan, Pigment, Mosaic)
• Experience operating in an audit-ready environment (SOX, SOC 2, or comparable controls)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for interaction with executives
